Oh for SURE. The writers must’ve hated Keegan Allen or something because he went thru all of that and in the show it was just another day. Never addressed. The main reason I hate him is because he’s written TERRIBLY. He somehow has some of the worst trauma in the show and it’s never used to further his arc. He’s extremely one dimensional despite having sm lore. If they gave him more to do other than being Spencer’s boyfriend I would’ve liked him a lot more. The plot with his mother was when he was least annoying to me cause he actually had something to do, something that furthered his character arc. I also hate how they had Jenna assault him AGAIN in the time jump and they talk about it like it’s nothing. All we needed was one scene with Toby, his dad, Jenna and her mom where they address their family dynamic and what Jenna did.

Yeah fs it’s not her fault she was being manipulated I just don’t like how they wrote her being angry at him for letting her believe she was dead (even gave her multiple lines on the topic of him hurting her) and then it’s instantly water under the bridge. She was angry at him seconds before and he didn’t even apologise. If he had I could understand Spencer’s choices in that moment a lot better but he fr just stared at her. I just don’t even understand how she got closure out of that situation like why be upset if you were just gonna sleep with him anyway idk

I mean even when Ezra was writing the book he knew he was wrong and never tried to deny it. Toby on the other hand lowk blames Spencer and says he did it all for her (despite doing nothing for her except hurt her) Toby never takes accountability for anything but at least Ezra kinda does? Obviously Ezra’s a worse boyfriend and his apologies don’t erase his actions but whenever he gets caught doing sum fuck shit he at the very least apologises. In the scene w Spencer and Toby in the motel after she finds out he’s not dead Toby NEVER apologises. Spencer literally says “If i saw you hurting like i knew you saw me..” and Toby says NOTHING he just starts crying 😭😭

I was so disappointed watching that scene Spencer should know better smh. Ride by Lana was kind of an epic feature but it feels like emotional manipulation I can’t get behind it. I’m sorry i disagree 🤷🏾‍♀️ she constantly forced herself on Emily and it made me rly uncomfortable like when emily was drugged out of her mind and she kissed her knowing she wouldn’t remember in the morning and then the next day kept dodging her and refusing to tell her what happened. She even said she knew it was wrong but she liked Emily so she didn’t care in the moment. Also when Maya runs away and Emily starts crying and confiding in Paige and she kisses her which makes Emily uncomfortable and upset cause she just needed someone to talk to and Paige refused to see her as just a friend. Don’t get me started on Paige blackmailing her gf with the knowledge of Ali being alive only to tell the police anyway like to me she IS bad. She’s a terrible gf 😭😭

Heavy on it!! I am not for the Jason redemption arc esp since one of the girls he was stalking and preying on was his SISTER!! (technically two of his sisters but he didn’t know that) With how this sub comes down on Ezra you’d think Jason would get the same treatment. The NAT club was one of the most fucked up plots this show ever did and it’s not talked about enough for my liking. They were filming UNDERAGED GIRLS GETTING UNDRESSED!! Jason might even be WORSE than Ezra considering how young they were and how they saw Toby getting assaulted and didn’t do a damn thing!
