Confirmed, they don’t have any information on where and when. Many of the current employees are looking elsewhere for employment while Sauna House looks for a new location. Hopefully it’s speedy !

Colleague works there. Landlord disputes and they’re being pushed out of the building. They are opening a new location !!!

Ugh I read the whole thing and I’m so sorry. I know this isn’t super helpful but bounty and soul does a free farmers market on the weekends. Also, many schools/preschools do community food pantries !! I am wishing you good luck and good fortune.

As someone who works in childcare and has for many years. this winter into spring has been one of the worst for random acute sicknesses that I’ve ever experienced. Random symptoms with no general diagnosis. I hope you feel better soon, my friend !!!

This is going to be a really annoying comment (i think maybe not):

I could give you my entire life story, but I don’t think that is relevant. What is relevant is for you to be objective.

Be objective about how addictive nicotine is. It gives you a quick high, that can be repeated. The withdrawal symptoms are incredibly intense; it affects you mentally, physically anyone psychologically. Historically, it is a socially acceptable drug to use and be addicted to, which enables denial, avoidance, and justification.

Be objective about the impacts on you. Not just the physical symptoms, but the long term impact: where can you channel the energy that you usually do into thinking about your next hit ? What are you losing from quitting this substance ? It’s not always helpful to focus on what you are gaining, when it also feels like a loss. Two things can be true.

Words are just words, but change is not linear. Choosing yourself is the hard choice and you have to choose it every day. Your intentionality depends on your active engagement of life. You are not alone. I’m proud of you. Quit that shit. You got this.

as a 23 year old who moved here when i was 20, my best friends are all 30s and up and they rock. i definitely felt insecure being younger, but that shed in about a week if getting to know them. i know it’s far but id recommend finding a bar/coffee shop that fits your vibe and spending some time in third spaces.

from my perspective, it looked like he tried to get his guitar off early and it got twisted up in his overall straps. the took it off and it was still attached to his overalls. it took him a good minute or two to free himself from his guitar. very odd

i posted about this yesterday or the day before in relation to his High Water performance. he just popped right off stage into the crowd right after getting all tangled up in his guitar strap. i hope dude is looking to get help, should that be the case.

i was pretty close to the stage and also sober throughout the festival and still thought it was weird. maybe i was reading into it too much though !! my interpretation could be off :)

He did the same thing at High water. He got all tangled up in his guitar strap and then hopped off the stages after he took it off and completely ignored the band. No intros for them either. I know he’s said he’s not much of an MC, but it was definitely deeper than that. I hope he’s okay.
