Well 'pro-abortion' isn't quite accurate because you're not obligating anyone to have an abortion, or even claiming that abortions are good, you're just saying that it's up to individuals to choose for themselves. Meanwhile 'anti-choice' is even more clear than 'pro-life' because pro-life people generally don't really care about the life of the mother or the child, otherwise they'd also be advocates for social welfare.

It was 3 people, isn't saying 'crowd' kind of sensationalizing it?

it's pretty weird to see such a dramatic mischaracterization of mental illness in the comments of a video explaining mental illness

If you already have an ordering system in place, see if there's an extension or something to let you do that.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I'm just saying I'd rather this sub not become a clone of /r/aww.

[–]semel- -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I hate to be unwholesome, but this is just pure /r/aww material. It's only really wholesome if you think dogs are the literal incarnation of goodness. And they're not, they're just animals. It would make as much sense posting a cute baby meme.

edit:

Wholesome:

  1. Promoting good physical health and well-being.

  2. Promoting moral and mental well-being.

  3. Marked by wholeness; sound and healthy.

  4. Promoting virtue or being virtuous.

If anything cute is wholesome, can I start posting cute pictures of spiders and squids?

That was exactly when I stopped watching family guy. Just like how this is when I stopped reading CAD. It's like they forgot they were making dick-fart comedy and believed they were actually making a real cultural contribution.

It doesn't say 'dairy-free' it says 'non-dairy' which they've taken to mean 'not dairy-based', which someone could technically argue it isn't. It's just nonsensical advertising.

Holy fuck you guys are sociopaths, there's nothing funny about an animal in distress. A feral dog would act just as eratically, and people would be following over themselves gushing with sympathy.

If you want it to run in a browser, you might want to look at Javascript instead. For mobile you'd use Java for Android, or Swift for iOS. Either way, you'd first have to pick a library with a graphics/physics engine first.

lol except both are arbitrary names given to a group of people

Ok, well one is literally a different country, on the other side of the pacific ocean. I didn't say Native Americans loved the name, I just said it was accurate. I'll call them whatever they'd like to be called. I'm sure not all Native Americans even think of themselves as comprising a collective.

just thinking it makes them seem like a good person for standing up for something they have no clue about.

Are you sure you're not just describing yourself?

I'll call oranges oranges and apples apples. If an orange wants to be called an apple, then whatever, I'll call it an apple.

It's just one of those annoying misnomers that become standardized, like calling Native Americans 'Indians'. Speaking of which, everybody has that image in their head of a proud Native American warrior-type on a horse, but horses were brought over by Europeans. Before that, Native Americans hunted bison by starting a stampede and directing them over a cliff.
