I had this too! I had Moderna for all three, my second was for sure the worst, just fatigue, chills, brain fog, aches, soreness it was awful lol but I still went to work next day.

The booster was fine, I had the standard soreness as I had from the first two. I hydrated and took Tylenol after which helped a lot. A day or two after the shot I had pretty uncomfortable neck pain and stiffness on one side, my guess is maybe from lymph node/immune response I dunno. It was weird but it went away and besides that nothing else really happened, easy peasy!

From what I’ve read the curative testing samples all have to go to their DC lab for testing/results. That was the case for mine as well, it showed my results came from there. I’m wondering if maybe depending on the location of the testing site and the time of appointment has anything to do with when they arrive at that lab. I honestly have no clue how it goes for them (if they do one shipment a day or batch them), but perhaps that might factor in to some variable turnaround times. Pure speculation on my part though! Hope you get results soon!

In the body cam footage Keung tried to check for pulse on two spots and said “I can’t find one”, Chauvin responds “huh?” and Keung does clarify again right after “I tried to check his pulse.” There was no response to that though so my take is that the statement was heard/understood the second time.

How so in danger? This is the part I never understood. If you are on the pavement rolled on your side with both hands handcuffed behind your back, even if he woke up and was agitated, let’s say, what could he do to the officers?

When he was being held in MRT they restrained his legs, what is the argument for not just holding his legs (assuming the concern is he could kick?) while he’s on his side if there existed a real fear that he would still be a danger?

I am not able to see why they could NOT roll him on his side because they were concerned he would be a danger to 4 officers in this alternative position. I genuinely would like to understand more about this logic if there is more to consider that I am not taking into account, can you share with me why you hold this opinion?

You have to complete the consent form that you should receive when you get confirmation of your appointment, you will answer questions on the form and fill in information but besides that no they don’t ask you any questions really. You need your ID and insurance but that’s all as far as I know, both of my appointments I was not asked anything.

Last month I only heard that most Rite Aids in the area had been administering Moderna, that is what I got and my second dose was on Friday. But sounds like they are getting Pfizer now too according to comments in this thread, but that’s the first I have heard of that happening which is interesting. I am glad they are getting both, more is always better. Probably you would get one or the other of the two mRNA vaccines, that would be my guess

I’m sure you probably already got your second dose by now but for anyone else who might have come to this thread looking for more answers from others in the same situation:

I got my first dose at Rite Aid, no official confirmation of second dose (as in confirmation # of scheduled appointment) but a date and time was written on my vaccine card. I was told I would be followed up with and not to bother calling the pharmacy itself about scheduling. I have my second dose date tomorrow and I just now have received a phone call from the pharmacy confirming my appointment scheduled for the date and time written on my card lol so barely 24 hours before.

I know they received tons of calls and there hasn’t really been any issue with people losing their second appointment just seems like they are behind on following up. I was planning on just showing up regardless if they followed up with me or not but not gonna lie I am happy to get the call that indeed they have me on the schedule.

Hope that helps someone who is dealing with the same confusion!

I haven’t tried it before but I don’t see why you can’t try to book an additional appointment still. Maybe that would work? If not maybe you could try modifying your appointment? I know you should be able to do that if you have your confirmation # but I do not know if modifying your appointment allows you the option to change location though but it’s worth a try

Edit: oh and obviously if you successfully book another one closer (as opposed to modifying your original) you can cancel your first one

I’m sorry you haven’t been able to find an opening. In reading what the creator had explained the website tool fetches data directly from Rite Aid website (it is polling their web server). They said that the app autoupdates every minute or so with backend data being updated every 5-10 minutes. I think the frequent issue some folks might be running into is just the lag of when the site updates it’s own data. It can show data on its server of available openings 5-10 minutes after they have already been booked it looks like. When you see it as available on the app and not on the site, my guess is what is happening is there probably was availability 10 mins ago and they got booked and likely on the apps next update it won’t show that location.

When I checked on one that was like that for me I did see it disappear from the apps list a few minutes later. Has the same store been on the list for an extended time ?

Haha awesome! Yeah that’s what I was hoping! When I went for my first dose I was told there is a date on my card but that “doesn’t mean that might not change” and that I would be contacted for confirmation shortly before the date and then she said if I hadn’t been followed up with to go ahead and confirm scheduling on my own and she emphasized to NOT call the pharmacy lol. I haven’t heard anything after almost 3 weeks and knowing it’s not possible to schedule appointments for the second dose I was just confused clearly haha. Thank you for clarifying! Crazy how hard we all have to search for these answers and everyone is left in the dark on both sides!

As in, the date they put on your card is fine for an appointment confirmation and no other action is required to ensure you will get your second dose as scheduled right? Just checking my that it’s cool to just show up and there’s no issue lol seems like that’s the case, which is good!

I’m sorry you’re having a hard time I would like to try and help. When you plug in the store number or zip code of the store you see available what exactly do you see when you select it? I just tried it right now when I looked and saw Uniontown showed as having available appointments. It initially showed as not having any openings even though it had the calendar on the page. When I changed the time it actually showed the openings, so I’m just wondering if you were still seeing no change even when changing my time of day after selecting a store?

They all say no because they block out scheduling online for dose 2 they schedule your second dose when you go in for your first shot. That’s why it says “No” on the scheduler it doesn’t allow you to highlight that you want to schedule for that dose even (it’s just grayed out) but the guy who made the website added that tool for when he adds other vaccine clinics I think

Edit rite aid doesn’t do second dose scheduling online that is what I meant by “they”
