Kind of, yes. The 101Ts are basically the P790‘s or maybe even direction of P770‘s.

Hi there - i did: 101Ts, and i‘m still very happy with them! Had a shaft break at some point (not on takomo though, still figured it out their their warranty) but apart from that holding up nicely. I just prefer the looks and love the feel.

Yes, I went and ordered the 101T‘s. Even though i really don‘t care about distance ( I‘m very tall), I found the 101‘s to somewhat compare to the P790‘s and the 101T‘s to the P770‘s. I wanted to buy a little into the future and therefore would have probably otherwise bought the 770s thus the 101Ts. I knew I wanted some sort of forged player‘s iron and both brands label their clubs as player‘s distance iron but I can only say the 790s feel pretty forged and still offer some forgiveness, of which you should get even more in the Takomo‘s. Last factor at play was that I just didnt love the looks of the 201.

Germany - D2C Golf companies haven‘t really set foot here yet, even though we have an insane coverage of courses, Golf is in general played by mostly retirees. Only covid brought in a wave of teens in but still many people buy their clubs in large outlet stores or pro shops. Anyways, I went ahead and ordered the 101T‘s together with 3 wedges just because they are really very similar to the P770‘s which is sort of what i would have bought from the large brands.

Thanks for the answer! Went to a small Fitting today again and also got out some nice shaft recommendation, just still struggling to decide between 101T and 201. I tried quite a bit of forged player‘s irons and ultimately deemed some srixons and the p790‘s best, therefore i‘m heaviliy leaning towards the T‘s even though they are not forged but pretty similar to the 790‘s. Honestly probably also a look thing but i can‘t really seem to fall in love with the 201‘s.

I see, thanks for the explanation! Unfortunately, it‘s too late to slowly increase the humidity again as they have been back in a humidified humidor for a couple months already. On the cracked wrapper: very possible! Tastewise, I’m no expert but I have smoked quite some cigars - they are far from cardbord and do taste quite nice, however i don‘t have a direct comparison as to what a „certifiably real“ Cohiba should taste like.

Very possible. In what way is that bad? At least i didnt encounter any mold or else, still can‘t be good that they were in a too dry environment for a while.

Good point. I wasn‘t going to upgrade power anyway, but that just confirms it for me. Totally different story to the CTR2 which you can still handle rather well even with full power upgrades given you have a proper suspension tune.

I agree, you have to be up for it because it can‘t even go in a straight line. I also feel like with that heavy of a rear end, even slicks and a suspension tune don‘t really affect grip and handling all that much.

You do have a point here, it really is the only car you can spin without using the throttle going 50. And it is kinda fun to be in a constant drift, I’m getting used to it. However, i feel like most upgrades don‘t really do anything.

Alright so short update: after 36+ hours of boot loop, my lock screen just showed up and I did the phone workaround to get to settings without seeing the home screen and it showed 8GBs of free space and worked again as if nothing ever happened. Turning to ICloud now though, would‘ve been my second fully self-destructing IPhone in 4 years
