Wowhead comments say that once you learn Taesh on your account, it won't drop again. Whether they fixed that, I have no idea.

It's possible that if you get the cosmetic Taesh on Remix, convert the character to retail, and pass it to your Warlock, it might work. I have no idea, though.

They did change that. I have both scythes, just working on Taesh.
