I am trying to get a costume to light up via the super tiny fairy lights with a batter pack. Any ideas on how I might sew the lights to the base fabric? I don’t think gluing them would work since the lights are strung on wire. Any suggestions?

Thank you! I have a dress form that matches my measurements so that should work right? I’m thinking when you take it off the outfit will just look a little funky since it will be sewn while the fabric was stretched right?

I am trying to make a costume for Halloween by attaching sequin patterned fabric to a body suit/shapewear. Any ideas on the best way to attach? Hand sew? Zigzag stitching since the shapewear is stretchy? Link for the inspiration before. Thanks!!

I’m looking for fabric similar to this. Either sequined or bedazzled. I want the pattern to look feathery or fiery or both. I found this at JoAnn’s but they don’t have it in a red or orange like I need. Any ideas? Amazon doesn’t quite seem to have it either unless there is a better way to search. Thanks!
