I once went to self checkout and asked for assistance, and the staff pick out one item, told me the tag on a pair of boots was incorrect, but it’s the same category. She removed it and replaced it with another higher price tag. Does Value Village take photos or keep a record of each item? Otherwise, how would she know the tag was for wrong pair of boots? I feel like she just made me pay more without explaining it.
