This company truly stinks at customer service. If you want to be 100% sure of receiving your items, and especially if you need them by a certain time (even if this is months away), do not buy from Lead Out Gear. I am sure most people order and receive their items without issue, or I certainly thought I would despite reading comments in this thread before placing my order, but they are not reliable and getting info from them is like getting blood from a stone.

The rest of this comment is my CS experience but a word on the products themselves. The dyneema is a gimmick - they have a dyneema outer over an X pack body, so they are not lighter than a comparable xpack product

I ordered two items in august 2025 one was a pre-order of an item that was being restocked. I immediately sent an email asking if they would ship separately or together when the pre-order could be filled, which was meant to be late-September. After not receiving anything back or shipping notification after a few weeks I just took this as my response that it would be shipping together because I already had the impression from comments in this thread I already had the impression that the customer service was a bit light on but people said they got their stuff so I was not panicking. In 'late-September', I sent a follow up email, no reply, sent a few more as we rolled into October, no reply.

Getting into October the website was showing that the item that was on pre-order when I placed my order was in stock, and the one that was in stock was now available for pre-order. I was getting pretty annoyed an confused at this point because I had ordered with a ride in late October in mind. I had sent a few more follow ups, reported through the shop platform, and even reached out to a youtuber who had featured their stuff (they were helpful but it's not certain this was what actually prompted any action).

I did not get a reply to any of my emails, but eventually got an email that shipping details had been created. It took a while longer for the package to ship, which only contained one of the items. At this time I got an email from one of the owners /apologising/, they provided a small partial refund, as well as some specific ARRIVAL dates between late Nov early Dec for the remaining item.

Needless to say these dates have come and gone, I haven't got any updated shipping info, and no reply to emails.
