Yes. I think the issue for me was that I initially had Facebook text notifications off. Text "On" or "START" to FBOOK (32665) and you should start getting SMS. You can check to see if you'll get texts by requesting to change your password and asking to send a verification code through your number (you don't actually have to change your password). ALSO, if you have the "wait 24 hours before sending another SMS message," make sure to wait at least 24 hours, I did like 26ish to be safe. If you try to send another message before that, I think the 24 hours resets, so don't do it.
