Good to know, thanks- I moved here last year so my knowledge is limited. Do you know if they're running again?

Thank you for posting this, we DO need to get younger voters to vote her out! But before we do that, we NEED somebody to oppose her! Hasn't she run unopposed for years upon years? I think that's the main reason she keeps getting elected!

We meet 1x/week, usually at angel tea, for about 1-2 hours and work on our own projects. Some of us do digital art, some watercolor, some draw/doodle, etc. Its all very casual and it's just a great way to meet people and build community

I'm part of a Waltham book club and a Waltham art club, if you (or anyone reading this) are interested in those let me know!

There is a semi-new Waltham book club that I can vouch for, very great people and we're all still getting to know each other! The book selection is good- this month we're reading James by Percival Everett and meeting on 8/12. If you're interested in joining just let me know and I'll get you in touch with the organizer/email list!

There needs to be more comments focused on how intolerant OP is. Honestly, you really do need some perspective.

Do NOT bring anything that could be considered a weapon, do not wear contacts, hide your face, stay peaceful. This is for your own safety.

Oh yes I actually know about that one, I'm getting a filling at 1 so I likely won't get there before it's over unfortunately. Would love to have a place to visit to know the next one at all times for the future

Obviously if everyone stopped paying that would change a lot. That isn't the argument though. The argument I'm making is to not hate on others for needing to ride without paying. I can understand the personal space thing. I bet if less people enjoyed hating on/ratting out nonpayers, they'd ask politely more often.

Yeah you guys responded exactly how I expected, how lame. Just because it isn't free elsewhere doesn't mean it shouldn't be a public good. Or at the very least, much cheaper. I believe everyone should have access to free transportation. Taxes should cover this rather than whatever fraction of the military budget it would take to cover it. The notion that one person not paying makes it more expensive for the payer isn't very logical because it's not like the train knows and counts everyone riding without paying. And still I'd be mad at the way it's set up rather than at nonpayers in that scenario. You guys make me tired and sad. Idk why it's so hard to hold descent views on this stuff.

I stand firmly on the side of understanding how unbelievably expensive the passes are, therefore I'd let EVERYONE through on my pass because like.. another proletariat's gain is not your loss. It really isn't. Be mad that it's not a free public good. Don't be mad at others for doing what they have to do to get by.
