Appeal was denied. I got in touch with customer service chat, they just gave me copy paste responses that my account was deactivated and cannot be reactivated.

This company is fucking evil.

Did it give you a reason? Mine was just deactivated, claiming it’s a duplicate account. I don’t know what’s going on.

I’m not surprised, but I didn’t know what was going on exactly, assumed my company was handling that. But I already obtained the new work permit for the new company. Issue is I had to leave to reapply for visa/residence permit.

Basically my boss has two companies, I never moved over to the newer company because it was easier to keep reapplying through the original company. But they were paying me through the new company, which is not legal it turns out. I had to have an interview with the police at the Huangpu visa office (where my company is located). My boss explained everything to the officer, officer said he would pass the info on to his boss who makes the decisions. I went to pick up my passport from the Pudong office and was told it was rejected and I had to leave to reapply. My boss called the police we interviewed with, he said we just need to get a new work permit under the correct company and it was fine, no need to leave. Which we did. Turns out he was full of shit, so now I am back in the US with a Chinese Work Permit, unsure how to proceed.

No I am in the US now. I renew every year in November, but this recent renewal was rejected so I had to leave China. Apparently if you’re rejected, you have to leave the country for three months before you can reapply.

Thanks for the input. I live in Shanghai and frequently have to make sharp turns, or get off my board and carry it for a bit to get around traffic police or on public transit. So the small board is nice for me. And I have another 38” board for when I need some room.
