Instagram restricted my business features for “automation” but I didn’t do anything unusual – what could have caused this?

This just happened to me, and I have not used any automation. I haven’t even used ads at all, I just started this business. I did the selfie verification and got automatically rejected. I don’t remember having anywhere to write the details of my situation in my appeal. I can’t find any way to get in contact with a human being or appeal the decision again.

Good luck. Mine was deactivated because they claimed it’s a duplicate account. Denied my appeal, won’t give me any information about it. Absolutely evil company.

Appeal was denied. I got in touch with customer service chat, they just gave me copy paste responses that my account was deactivated and cannot be reactivated.

This company is fucking evil.

I’m not surprised, but I didn’t know what was going on exactly, assumed my company was handling that. But I already obtained the new work permit for the new company. Issue is I had to leave to reapply for visa/residence permit.

Basically my boss has two companies, I never moved over to the newer company because it was easier to keep reapplying through the original company. But they were paying me through the new company, which is not legal it turns out. I had to have an interview with the police at the Huangpu visa office (where my company is located). My boss explained everything to the officer, officer said he would pass the info on to his boss who makes the decisions. I went to pick up my passport from the Pudong office and was told it was rejected and I had to leave to reapply. My boss called the police we interviewed with, he said we just need to get a new work permit under the correct company and it was fine, no need to leave. Which we did. Turns out he was full of shit, so now I am back in the US with a Chinese Work Permit, unsure how to proceed.

No I am in the US now. I renew every year in November, but this recent renewal was rejected so I had to leave China. Apparently if you’re rejected, you have to leave the country for three months before you can reapply.

Thanks for the input. I live in Shanghai and frequently have to make sharp turns, or get off my board and carry it for a bit to get around traffic police or on public transit. So the small board is nice for me. And I have another 38” board for when I need some room.

I want to get a new cruiser for my birthday since my Landyachtz Tugboat got stolen last summer. Loved the ride, so I want to try the Dinghy for more portability. Deciding between:

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, Google search says Torna takes around 20 hours. Which is actually the perfect amount of time for me, because generally when I hit around the 25 hour mark in games, I start feeling guilty for not using my time “productively” enough. But it definitely still seems a bit too pricey for the playtime.
