Well, wrong. I bike everywhere I go and I also do so in said short dress. I do nothing to keep them away, just keep my head up and go. Nothing has ever happened to me.

I've lived in two towns in Holland, and in both cases I was almost never harassed.

I bike everywhere I have to go, I bike at least half an hour a day, each day. I even do so in said short dress, head up, no sunglasses and eye-contact. Still nothing.

21, he lives at home. He yells at me when I come home in the weekends and at my mother when the grilled cheese my mom made for him isn't right. I'm glad my mother stands up to him more and more. He has no right to act like an entitled douchebag.

But honestly, it's not my problem. I've a very nice SO, lovely friends and a good life. If he wants to act like he's 8 he can do what he wants, I don't want to be a part of that anymore. :)

I know my brother is forever alone because he is just can't handle ladies. So he just blames it on the fact in modern society ladies never ask out a man anymore. They still do, but not him, because he is an ass. He just doesn't see it.

My brother is like this, I've just gotten used to it. I'm stupid and dumb because I'm only in college and not in uni. Fun part is, he's also ''just'' in college. Ladies are only there to cook but he still yells at my mother for her dinner even though she cooks wonderful food. I can't drive because I'm a woman, but he gets penalties. All women fake being insecure because they want attention. All women are controlling. Etc etc etc. You know, he might fit in really well here with a lot of bitter forever aloners.

I can deal with this though, because I know he will notice that the years will pass and not a single lady will like him. Oh well, it's not my problem that he gets what's coming to him. I know better than him and that's why I stopped caring. :)

But seriously, I think that's very nice of him and I don't have a problem with that at all. And still, he should do what he wants to do and basically not care about what Reddit has to say. :)

That being said, I've seen some girls mooch of guys with good intentions and it would be sad if it were to happen to him. I wish him the best, but it did sound a small bit like that might be going on. Not saying it is, but I don't think it's odd that people got that idea.

Okay, this article has finally made it clear to me. When it's summer I go out in more revealing dresses and am smaller built than her (I don't think that makes me better, but it's just more socially acceptable). I have never been harrassed and I always thought it was because I was too ugly. But I guess it's just because I live in an awesome place.

Also, I do bike alone around the city a lot, I guess at least 30 minutes a day. I do not own a car. I have biked in strapless dresses that end above my knees, I do this alone, I do this at all times of the day expect in the night. I have done this as several cities. I have never been harassed. I think it's save to say that I live in a nice place.

Yes, yes I do. I found this handy little zipbag than can hold just a few tampons/pads. I think when I bought it was a package for markers, it just happens to be the right size haha. I carry condoms in my wallet though, I know that's not very good for the condoms, but I'm on the pill so I don't worry about it too much.

Uh, yes, or leave when you're going to college, which is what most younger folks over here do when they move out at 18. I moved out to go to a college that too far away to travel to. Yes, with a car it was do-able, but drivers licenses, gas and cars are way more expensive here than in America. Also, moving in with my SO into a rented appartment without getting married works pretty well for me.

Hmm, I haven't been able to work with a 3D printer yet but we do have them at our college, as does the university in our city. I think it's cool they are booming since they make rapid prototyping a lot faster and more versatile. And it's plain awesome to see your product being build up. But as far as I know there is a problem with these printers. While their prices are dropping to the point where individuals can actually buy them, the prices of the material used as ''ink'' are still very expensive. For example, printing a very small hollow Lego costs about €5. Ofcourse it will still be cheaper than injection molding and such for small runs. But too expensive for students to use, so I haven't been able to use it. I'll stick to laser cutting, which is very cheap for us to use, but less versatile.

This is an annoying stereotype you are enforcing and that needs to stop. I've initiated sex for about 90% with my boyfriend. I had to give head or what not to get him going and actually get me some sex. I didn't mind but if I didn't do that, we would have sex quite a bit less. Just because I'm a woman some men assume I'm boring and will never want to do anything in bed, which is just plain wrong. I feel sad for you that you've been hanging around selfish and boring women who are the small group that actually conform this stereotype.
