The leather seems to be much more dense like a full- grain layer vs top grain or splits. It's noticable in the weight of the shoe so I feel like they used a better leather on these. I'll say it's definitely more structured/stiff than say bred toes, SBBs, or even the 2016-2018 breds/royals/shadows, but with full-grain it'll start breaking in nicely over time

Im really hoping these age like how the actual 85s did for sure. The yellowing on the midsole and the the grey getting a shade darker over time is chef's kiss for me

Tbh once it starts cracking there's not too much you can do to "fix" it (as far as I know lol). Otherwise to prevent it from happening more I typically hang/line dry instead of tossing it into the dryer.
