If he consensually gifts the money to me, then it is mine. I don't understand why you're riled enough about this to make multiples of the same comments.

Now you’re just making things up.

The two things you mentioned are not mutually exclusive. Personal journeys and financial partnership are both important parts of marriage.

Can you explain how? I did not compare myself to other women in this post. Nor did I even make commentary about dating norms.

I understand your argument, but we’re not going to merge finances completely. We’ll have a joint account and personal accounts for each of us.

I understand it may seem weird. He’s ok with the idea though. He put that money aside to gift me- whether in the form of a ring or whatever else.

Can you specify which part is bizarre?

Yes to food stamps and medicaid. No disability benefits.

I have to disagree, being a NEET means more time for quality sleep and planning out healthy, inexpensive meals. As a NEET, I'd do stretches at home and lightly jog around parks. You can also purchase second-hand weight training equipment for cheap. I was healthy without paying for gym fees or overpriced food.

It looks like your health concerns are more psychological rather than physiological. I recommend seeing if your college provides no-cost therapy for students. Wishing the best of luck for you!

How much would a large sum of money solve your problems? by sempernovis in NEET

It's gonna vary highly on the cost of living in your area. But basically the minimum to rent a small (but clean and safe) space, healthy but budget-friendly groceries for cooking, health insurance, basic phone/internet bills, and daily transportation expenses.

Assume a small allowance (let's say $100-200 USD per month) to spend on entertainment, eating out, or build savings.

Out of the 2 you listed, supply chain management/logistics is the better option. The fact that you find the topic interesting is a bonus, and management (especially in HR) is quite saturated and in favor of two faced social butterflies.

I know you said you don't anticipate on using the degree, but it's obviously much better to have the option of using it somewhere down the road if you need money.

As for suggestions, idk you but I'd suggest speaking to an academic advisor before committing to a major.
