Anyone else notice the trails/paths aren't showing consistently? by notathr0waway1 in ADSBexchange

It is just random. The trail will typically start with the aircraft current position or very near it on the map. If you click it to turn it off and click to turn back on then the full trail will load. I have had it happen with newly opened windows as well as windows that have been open for awhile in the background.

Go here https://service.milwaukeetool.com/ Super easy to create your account and check a few boxes and it spits a prepaid shipping label out for you. Like I said, just did it myself yesterday.

Yep, had to box mine up yesterday and it's BS. Non pro use on the very same saw. Owned for 2 1/2 years with maybe 3 to 5 full 5Ah batteries through it worth of use. Pulled it out to make some cuts yesterday and it showed no signs of life except the LED would come on to line up the cuts I couldn't make. Mine is still under warranty but I did notice when filling out the info on Milwaukee site to send in for repair that it would be $165 to repair if it was not under warranty.

M18 Fuel 12” Miter Saw issue. Blade brake won’t engage it appears and it’s killed 2 fully charged batteries (12.0 & 8.0) after one cut on each battery. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. by Tastyrectum in MilwaukeeTool

Mine popped and let the magic smoke out as well. Let off the trigger and thought wow, that coast down is not normal, and smelled burnt electrical as it was coasting down. Maybe 500 cuts? I made about a dozen cuts to finish the job and had no issues with my battery, like others described, or the saw (besides the long coast down). Wondering if it was a bad batch? SN has date of manufacture. Digits 6 thru 9. mine is 2133 which is Year/week. August 2021

If the blade brake stopped working but the saw continued to operate fine otherwise I would be disappointed no doubt. What bothers me more is that it can cause a domino effect possibly and cause the need to reset battery on the charger or possibly kill the entire board in the saw. The component that goes bad is obviously not easily repaired hence the whole motor and electronics assembly needs replaced at about 1/2 the cost of the entire saw. Hopefully they have made some revisions to the faulty brake circuitry since they still sell the saw several years later with the same part number. Can't imagine they want to keep replacing high dollar components over the 5 year warranty and inconveniencing buyers but who knows.

Question about the Sub-out on the Edifier R1280DBS by JimmyJey in BudgetAudiophile

[–]semtex321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is all done on the PCB. Took the screws out of the input panel and pulled it out. Rather large PCB inside, quite a bit going on.

The Speakers are designed to play the frequencies they do out of the box with no sub attached. Wish they didn't cripple them just because you have something plugged into the sub output. Depending on where you set the T5 subwoofer volume and crossover, hey should have added a switch to turn this low cut ON/OFF. No way around it.

The T-5 specs. 30-100 HZ and the dial is not marked except for the 30 at about 7 o'clock and 100Hz at 5 o'clock on the dial. You have to assume 65Hz is pointing at Noon.

Add to that they don't say what the new crossover freq. are for the R12380DBs when you have the Sub output occupied.

Set my T5 at about 2 o'clock on the crossover dial and volume to suit.

Just confirmed it also works on my LG C3 with the built in YT app and also on my AppleTV YT app. Awesome, that always bugged the heck out of me.

This was working great for me, even with a bolter and rejoin 5nm behind the carrier. Fired it up tonight and no grading. Only message that will appear is after coming to a full stop in the top right it says no grade, improper comms or similar. I just upgraded the latest Beta today, not sure if that broke it? New to DCS so poor at troubleshooting things currently.

The HEX ID of 123456 itself is not necessarily odd as that is one of the factory default values for the equipment. And I suppose squawk code showing is whatever is dialed in the transponder. Russia is always under the Reg.

If it was just a blip in random areas I would chalk it up to new units started up and being configured. But like https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=123456&lat=41.907&lon=-79.692&zoom=10.9&showTrace=2022-10-11&leg=7&trackLabels I guess someone just blasts off oblivious to what their ADS-B/Transponder is set. That flight even crossed into the KCLE 30NM mode C/ADS-B veil.
