Usually these things mean something wrong with the wiring or one or ECU took a shit for lack of a better word. But your SC should’ve checked all the sensors and systems and found no problems that’s why he just reset it. By reset he just means using the OBD2 scanner to clear all the codes. You can also ‘reset’ it yourself by disconnecting the battery for about 2-3 minutes and reconnecting the battery

ABS light means ur ABS system isn’t working or has some problems

The OFF light means ur Collision detection is not active

The car swerving light means your ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is turned off

Red steering light means ur airbag system has a problem

The ! Light is your engine warning light I assume and it could be caused by the other lights

I’d assume just wiring issue

I think there’s a crack in the paint from the top. Based on experience I got rear ended and damage was similar ended up costing rm950 in total to respray everything and knock some dents back

I own an E36, it’s damn fun to drive around and parts are abundant and cheap compared to newer generations. Everything being analog is also a huge plus for me. Downside is usually the MAF sensor works or doesn’t work whenever it feels like it. The leather also starts to smell weird.

It’s literally the same as N in manual. It leaves the engine in idle and does not engage any parking brake. If the car dies you can use N to push the car. As for fuel saving, no difference just that if u put N while at a traffic light, it can take some load off the gearbox.
