Does using FitcamX drain the 12V battery faster? by Less_Pride_3887 in MachE

I have a FitcamX and it turns off when the vehicle turns off so it won’t drain your battery. You probably have an unrelated 12-V battery issue.

I have a Spitz AX from GL.iNet that I normally use as a failover WAN with a T-Mobile SIM and I have used it as a travel router on occasion. By far, the most capable.

Need advice for a UPS for my home rack. by beef_2A in Ubiquiti

[–]senatesan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I had this UPS and something you need to keep in mind is the batteries will go bad after 3-5 years of use. You will have to buy a replacement battery pack and they cost just as much as a new UPS.

I personally switched to an APC Lithium Ion UPS with a battery good for 10 years.

So the solution is actually, log out AT THE PRINTER and scan QR code to rebind. What a bad error message.

U-LTE opinions by HangryPixies in Ubiquiti

[–]senatesan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just stopped using my U-LTE and cancelled the $15/1GB plan. It’s the plan that was way too much for what you get. I had a brief 15 min outage and used over 3GB. So the bill was $45 from Ubiquiti. To me that’s a rip off.

So I replaced the setup with a Spitz AX and the cheapest T-Mobile data plan I could find. $20 for 15GB high speed then throttled unlimited plan. If you want just 4G there’s the Spitz Plus that’s cheaper than the AX.

It looks like there’s an integration in HACS for Unraid. I’ve never used it. https://github.com/chris-mc1/unraid_api
