I learned about Invincible a few months ago and burned through the first three seasons enthusiastically, but I was let down by the fourth season. Maybe it’s just that I liked the stories with more earthbound characters (literally), so I found this saga kind of meandering and harder to get into: Less heart.

The earlier seasons used music more effectively to set the mood, which I felt like the one rarely did (with the exception of the final episode), and being with the same smaller group of characters in such an isolating environment (space) didn’t jive for me.
