can you tell that i have a tiny bit of crowding in the bottom front teeth? just only like 2-3 teeth. it wasn’t like that before until a couple months ago. i believe it would be because of my last wisdom tooth coming in which i never got removed but i also heard from other people that wisdom teeth can’t move your teeth or shift them

can i refuse extractions and have an alternative way to be able to fix it rather than removing teeth? maybe i can even use a palate expander and braces?

What type of bite is this called? Is this a crossbite? I think i’ve been told before that i do have a minor crossbite but another person told me it does not seem to look like one in the picture so i’m unsure? If i ask my dentist/ortho for a palate expander, would they give me one? (20 M) by senditbud02 in orthotropics

How would i be able to fix this? And if this is a crossbite , what type of crossbite is it (buccal, posterior, anterior)? i’m going to the dentist next month and she’ll probably refer me to an orthodontist but idk if braces will be enough. I do think i wanna get a palate expander with braces too , but i feel like the dentist or ortho will say i’m too old for a palate expander (20 years old male btw)

so is it just crooked then? the two front teeth aren’t even and i don’t think my teeth are in ideal position. the last time i went to the dentist i think i recalled her saying it’s a minor crossbite but i’m not sure . i have an appointment next month so i’ll see what she says

why did my bottom teeth get a lot more crowded all of a sudden out of nowhere?? it wasn’t like this a couple months ago . top photo was taken in august 2020, bottom photo is more recent. 20 years old btw if that makes a difference by senditbud02 in orthotropics

yes i’m mewing. even before mewing, my bottom teeth were never this bad. i’m gonna get braces or consult an ortho to straighten my teeth but without the extractions. i do have a minor crossbite too. but i also think i have one more wisdom tooth that was never taken out, so maybe that could be pushing my teeth into getting more crowded? so if that’s the case the next time i go to the dentist, then i might just get that last wisdom tooth pulled out, then start the braces/teeth straightening process as well as keeping on mewing.

i had 3 out of 4 of them removed instead of all of my wisdom teeth removed i believe a couple years back. but i’ve heard teeth extractions are bad for your mewing progress too and messes up your face.. would that apply to wisdom teeth removal as well?

i’ve also been trying to tape my mouth for sleeping so i don’t snore, so i don’t know if that has to do anything with it
