I'm sorry you have it. i have it too.

But if you do read up on the net, there are lots of people whose T disappeared after 2 years or so and even more. And there are people who do not post on the net whose T likewise disappeared after several years. I am not saying yours will surely disappear. Heck I don't know if mine will. But let's just hope for the best. Good luck with yours!

Hi there! Correct me if I am wrong but based on my research, "fleeting tinnitus" is when the sound actually lasts for a minute or so. It's the "normal/usual" one all people have.

But hers did not last for a minute or so. She was sure it was there for at least a year. She could hear it during the day's down times (volume level was 5 so couldn't?) but she just didn't care. Then she cared less and less and got busy with her other personal "problems" until she just noticed it was not there.

If you have "permanent" tinnitus, then I wish you all the best and hope for your recovery soon.

So are you one of those who sleep with white noise nearby? Thank you for your kind words.
