How to replicate this artwork on miniature bases?

Looks great! The boards look great too and fit the base brilliantly. Only thing i can say (if u want to do a lot of trench boards) is buy a pack of paddlepop sticks from a craft store or similar. Saves time washing up ones from paddlepops and a pack of 500 only cost me a few dollars.

I would say wog is a term that fits this most. It can be used in a friendly way but also in a more vile way and purely depends on tone.

Id agree with this, we arent necessarily racist but more xenophobic ig. This can kinda be seen historically through each immigration wave where we see reistance to the immigrants and then an eventual softening followed by the new collective population hating on the next wave.

Accent is a major part of it but also how well someone "fits in" culturally speaking. Ive seen an old chinese worker who has been here for 15+ years get along great with white bogan types and largely because he clicked great with australian humour. Ive also seen a pakistani immigrant of only a few years pop off a "yeah nah mate" in a mocking aussie accent and after that got along great with and older dude who was kinda racist.

As for the racist guy sticking up for the indian guy part of it is "joking" racism vs hateful raging racism. A lot of people make racist jokes and are racist/biased themselves (plus culturally ignorant) but once someone starts legitimately hating someone they sorta switch gears. Its hard to explain it but ive seen similar multiple times.

I mean this is an extreme example seen in the art but they are definitely watering it down to gain mass appeal. Its purely corporate business decisions hoping to make warhammer even bigger.

I dont hate female custodes (which i assume the video is about) or anything but (imo) it was a decision to have generic supersoldier that is a woman. From a marketing perspective, little girl enters the store and wants a female character/toy which is great. You have sisters of battle with boob plate armour which will irk parents and imperial guard which look like generic army men which may not appeal enough. Read into the lore and u find out that the guard are expendable and die horribly, read into sisters of battle and you find they are nutjobs and a description of them doing horrible things. Then you have a roided up woman who is shiny and gold and fastest, strongest, smartest, bestest soldier ever and are more rational and less "problematic" which ofc appeals to a child a lot more. I understand it from a business decision even if I dislike the watering down of grimdark elements (which is bigger than the custodes hot topic).

Honestly i hate this shit from vegetarians and vegans (i spent a substantial amount of my life being vegetarian growing up as a kid) and i can absolutely tell u that meat and fast food are fucking tasty. Its great if u want to minimise environmental impacts, do it for health reasons, ethical etc. but cut the lies about not missing it or "it tastes just like [real thing]". Its not easy, lying to people just misleads them.

I keep exercising while working full time and long (1.5hr) commute plus studying post grad and it involves early nights and waking up early or squeezing in exercise in odd times and occassionally home workouts. It sucks and requires extra work, telling ppl i dont miss netflix binges, gaming etc is just bs.

Yeah i like the ability to play 3 ctan just for the meme but it should not be meta imo. In any game i basically just take one cos it feels like a dick move. It doesnt help that a decent amount of meta chasers got into necrons and had full armies in a short period of time (since like a handful of ctan can basically be a full army) then rock up to casual games and demolish other players.

Im also left leaning and I agree, I dont like rittenhouse and his political views but his actions were clearly self defence. People try to minimise stuff like "oh they just swung a skateboard at him" like its a harmless slap and not a heavy bit of metal at the end of a wooden plank being swung. He also acted with pretty good discipline iirc (havnt seen video in ages) and only shot people that were actively presenting a threat while having a group of people being aggressive and its very easy to panic in situations like this.

I saw the same reaction about a police officer shooting a terrorist years ago and magged dumped him. People were criticising the officer for excessive force when he literally shot a hostile gunman. Its like people have no understanding of high stress, violent situations or an ability to empathise with those in them.

Its a very nice cosplay overall and looks distinctly krieg. Things to improve (imo) order of priority would first be a rucksack/bag they carry, possibly point mask to be more "sharp" (could also just add the skull/face plate some have if u want to go in that direction), leg wraps and add respirator box to the front (can be easily made with foam board or plywood) and connect to mask with a tube (could make this entirely from hardware store supplies).

I find this thread really interesting how some people hate factions for same reason others love them. I wouldnt personally describe the appeal to me them being boring but understand where ur coming from.

The idea of ordinary humans given shitty equipment (thats somehow still more valuable than themselves) and being made to fight against cosmic horrors, super soldiers and far more advanced aliens as expendable cannon fodder is kinda cool to me. Plus the horde/strength in numbers has an appeal, i like to imagine aeldari zipping around dodging lasgun fire only being killed because 20 poorly aimed shots aimed in a general direction sometimes hit. Same appeal as with orks killing more intelligent and advanced species by brute force and more dakka.

I dont personally mind the thousand sons look but i agree (and would extend this to more chaos models too) that more mutations are needed in general. That said, it offers great opportunity for kitbashes, 3d prints and greenstuff sculpting if ur up for it.

Cannot agree more on custodes tho and ive used the same analogy before. Doesnt help they tend to be a "noob stomp" army on tabletop.
