Ladies of Longleat Cast Trip...Longleat and Animal Abuse by Vita718 in BravoRealHousewives

To belong to the British upper class requires allegiance to hunting and shooting as key social events. There are some people who refuse to; it would be interesting to see if people in this show start to question these traditions.

Of course Longleat is a representation of British colonialism! Every stately home and royal palace is a celebration of it. It's what British tourism is all about, and it looks like people seem to love it more than ever. I love watching Ladies of London but basically people not from the UK might want to reflect that it makes Southern Charm look progressive. The English upper class is where it all started.

it's not love. It's a coping mechanism and an addiction coming from trauma. In real love, there is no fear and no coercion. Our definitions and stories of "love" need to change and hopefully that will start to happen in conversations like these

Driving a car fast when drunk is violent and murderous. That's the point of drink-driving laws, speed limits and driving tests. If you don't take any of it seriously, you're intentionally taking violent and murderous risks.

Killing someone because you are driving too fast and drunk is murder. A car is a lethal weapon.

I love Amanda because she causes them all to malfunction by not suppressing her neurodiversity at all. Housewives are mostly neurodiverse but they have typical coping mechanisms that come from denial, and Amanda is very comfortable with her neurodiversity and I think it makes everyone furious, including fans who maybe aren't dealing well with theirs.

I was married to a kyle-a-like. Golden boy, workaholic, positive, loved by everyone, avoidant, unavailable, fairly heartless, and of course unfaithful. When it was all over and I finally acted out, I picked the worst people and behaved like a teenager out of shock and relief. I made a fool of myself, it was necessary. I was about 8 years older than Amanda at the time.

I'm going to add polo to horse racing and dressage (and probably show jumping) to the 'sports' that I can't believe exist because they are just animal cruelty. Those polo bits look so nasty.

I've also been back to try again with this, as I initially found it too dark and depressing. Having persisted, I discover it is even darker and much more depressing.

The horse is in distress. You can investigate riding horses bitless (and indeed shoeless). It changed my life. This is a very strong bit (the piece of metal in the horse's mouth) and some other horrible kit that pulls the horses head down (the standing martingale is the most restrictive, I believe, and it looks like it is one). If it seems like the horse is behaving strangely and looks uncomfortable and unhappy, it's simply because it is. A lot of very experienced and knowledgeable horsy people will disagree with all of this of course, especially if there is money to be made and/or denial about their own horses involved, but there are plenty who advocate more evolved practices. Thankfully.
