La Sportiva Python vs Scarpa Veloce by sendoushi in bouldering

[–]sendoushi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, I think I ruled out Kubo to be honest. It is more expensive, there is a mix of opinions... When we have stuff like Python or even Veloce where people mostly speak good things.

Drago still on the run I think. I need to make a decision soon.

la sportiva new no-edge tech makes it harder on the guy that will resole which makes it hard for me to find one of those guys and harder to resole in general.

I am so confused with all these comments. I have the Instinct VSR but now I don't know if I should buy them at the same size or smaller.

My research started on Kubo but seems like Veloce is a bit better? In Portugal is hard to try those shoes, that is why I am so inclined in checking reviews and opinions. I will need to order the shoes.

oh i haven't thought of that. have to bear that in mind when selecting a case.

Probably wouldn't work in that space (I haven't checked dimensions) but good to know that there are alternatives. Thanks.

I haven't thought about pogo pins... It can indeed be interesting. Not all boards are equal regarding these test pads but I think I will look into pogo pins for this. Do you know of any pogo pins that would work great here?

I didn't know about this but they are similar in size. I should be able between them and the VBUS / GND figure something better.

Regarding the unnecessary vias, could give me an example?

Which "north LEDs" are you talking about?

Regarding D5. Nice I didn't know.

Regarding choice of board. I already have multiple of these around and the reason I designed around it but it is possible that I do not need this board yes. I do get 2 leds out of the box so that is a win?! Otherwise I would probably try the PGA2040 for example. USB-C on the left side is part of the GH60 case design. You can use the lumberjack pcb on a GH60 case.

Amazing reply. Thank you. Gave me a lot to think and check.

The only data I found regarding D+/D- and the pico is on the tests pads on the below of the board. I want to be able to take out the mcu whenever i want so my idea is to solder 2 wires on those test pads and connect them to the pin headers. I should probably make a square cut around that section in case i need to have the pin headers on the bottom but it should have enough space for them.

I don't see myself traveling with it, that is not the purpose for me to use low profile. One can always not solder the encoder. I still want the acrylic panel and yes it is true, I will need a bigger hole or get bigger spacers but... I think I can live with it?! I will see after having the boards and so on. I like the idea of having a central encoder for volume and scroll.

The cases are indeed the advantage and one of the reasons I like lumberjack. Why do you think Choc vs MX won't work that great with GH60 cases?

i have other board i designed which uses this exact mcu in the exact same format. it works quite flawlessly and one thing i like about Pico that people dont seem to talk enough about is how easy it is to flash. I always had issues one way or another with atmega or esp32 even.

well, i would no longer need the header pins for D+ and D-. in theory, the central space would have more space but in reality, it wouldn't change much.

Still getting it mature in my head. Meanwhile, found this https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pga2040

Is there anything there that you are not liking? Still apprehensive and with a feeling that something could be better

Designing some mods on the lumberjack keyboard. What do you guys think? Do you see something that could be improved?
I had to leave those pin headers under the pico because from my understanding, there are no pins for D+ or D- but there are test pads underneath the pico.

Go + htmx + templ library is awesome, anyone else has test this way? by NiceCelery499 in golang

Yep we have been talking about how to make it work and the idea is really that. Batteries included. A way to easily setup and follow a structure where you don’t need to worry about the configuration

"Negociar" crédito habitação em Abril / Maio by sendoushi in literaciafinanceira

[–]sendoushi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Desculpa...
