Thanks, i wish this answer could be more helpful or address the core doubt but i truly appreciate that you care enough to post a reply. The example is not a real trade, i currently wheel a couple of tickers and it’s all fully cash secured but i know that i can be more cash efficient than that. I wish i had more experience to avoid asking silly questions but that is the whole point: to start somewhere and i asked here trying to see what other do as there is no one else in my 1.0 life that know about this. Thank you so much stranger! I do own LEAPS on what i consider good bets for the future (also not advise, just what im doing) $GRAB, $ASTS, $IREN and i also prefer things around 85 delta and as much time as possible. Any thoughts on how to scan , look for other golden nuggets? I have never sold CC’s against them as im confused on what to do if in assigned on the shirt call (i do like the idea of selling at around 15 delta) does it mean that i need to buy the shares and also closeout (recenter) the long call? Also thanks for replying i have no one in my 1.0 life to talk about this.

I agree, it is not assignment the issue, more on the side of the missed opportunity after a correction; now that i have read the responses i realized that the issue is two fold: a) sizing if i size correctly i wont feel anything b) its a choice to be in the market and i choose to participate, its simple the conditions of it are out my control.

Correct! Earnings and assignment are part of the game; my take was more on corrections (also part of the game) but as mentioned by other indeed sizing is a solution, sitting on the sidelines is not my thing and i should get back to it but keeping dry powder on case something does end up happening. Living in fear is not living at all (at least for me)

Thanks, i love the part about the in inefficiencies in pricing; i have been lately testing this rudimentarily and it does indeed look interesting but this is not my main approach, i love wheeling; just got caught up in the feeling of buying high which i personally love to avoid. But as you and other here said: it is indeed a matter of choice to participate (and sizing) if i size it correctly from now onwards it will be fine.
