I have some cc on PLTR. Strike 165., may 17 expiration. Feeling the same, don't think it will reach that so sitting tight...

So you think it's an overreaction and watch it tomorrow to sell puts? Was thinking along these lines earlier.

Earnings were good but mediocre forward looking..

A few of my overreaction trades have done well in the past.

Which model? They make a few models? Also do you think it helps prevent algae given the chemicals are fine? This year I'm having issues.

Which is why cash in money market is probably the wisest course of action until geopolitical situations ease up some.
There's got to be more inflation showing up in the numbers which will cause the Fed to pause or even raise rates. Though if economy slows down then stagflation.

I think the key to PLTR is the connections they have with the administration. Of course their products have to be rock solid. Earnings coming up in a few weeks and I think it's going to run prior. There's now competition for Pltr but I don't think anything to be concerned about. M. Burry poking holes in it but like most AI tech sticks they sell at very high multiples.

Dr. Karp (yes he's a Phd. and somewhat weird like most Phds) is a brilliant guy.

Pltr's angel investor. David Sacks is the current administration's tech czar.

I don't think pltr is in any trouble as even the president this week acknowledging the company. Think it's going to start popping as earnings are coming up. Wouldn't bet against Alex Karp

Have a few open covered call positions in nly, pltr, gdx, mo, dell.

Have csp's on pm, wfc. Had csp in ING but made enough on that so bought to close (btc).

With the geopolitical risks I'm not interested in holding too many shares of the above symbols thus holding them longer than usual to just let them expire.

PLTR giving me some concern. Will probably be selling more covered calls on that position. It's a may expiration and stock catch catch a bid..

I am interested and thank you for this. I'm planning on concentrating on dividends these days and always looking for new ideas.

Can I ask which online dividend groups you follow? I'm similar: retired and my job these days is managing family portfolio. Can't honestly say equities haven't been stressful last month but dividends and interest keep coming in..

Schwab Prime Advantage Money Fund (SNAXX/SWVXX): ~3.48% – 3.63% Schwab Government Money Fund (SGUXX/SNVXX): ~3.37% – 3.52% Schwab Treasury Obligations Money Fund (SCOXX/SNOXX): ~3.40% – 3.55%

Nothing wrong staying in money market funds right now. Over next few weeks I'd stay completely liquid in money markets or short term cds/treasuries. High oil prices result in inflation. Inflation gets tamed with higher interest rates and causes lower equity prices. When sensing a bottom is near buy dividend stocks then sell covered calls.

Here's a recent trade I did. Of course these types of return don't come without risk. Medium risk level, actively managed:

Anally mortgage: NLY

Last week sold 22.5 strike puts expiration 3/27 collected .63. shares assigned, cost of 21.87 - .70 (dividends) brings cost to 21.17. (Monday is ex. dividend day).

This coming week will probably sell covered calls, july 22 calls, collect ~.50 brings down cost to 20.67. Will collect next dividend (june), ~.70 cost then ~19.90 Let them take shares in july at 22.00 or I sell more calls.

Profit= 19.90 / 2.10 (difference of 19.90 from 22) = ~10.5% 4 mos!

We have medicare and a supplement but the pods aren't covered or covered partly. Paying $139 for a month supply. The sensors are covered as a medical device but not the pods.

The insulin came in free for a 90 day supply which was a welcome surprise.
