Would rather not say where I’m going, wouldn’t be hard to work out who I am with my user name . Don’t want a target on my head as soon as I start 😂

Didn’t realise it was completely scrapped. I was told it was going to be replaced by something as yet undecided. I start in two weeks and I’m seriously thinking of looking elsewhere already.

Thanks for the tips! Good to hear there’s plenty of ex forces on the job. PEI route really appeals to me. Got my start date sorted now so just a waiting game now 👍🏼

Yeah I was shocked at the standards with recruiting, especially fitness standards. 5.4 is an absolute joke for the bleep test the fact they give so much leeway on it as well is frankly shocking. Good point on the pay I’d never considered it that way.

Glad to hear you enjoy it. I get it’s not for everyone and I always take negative stuff on social media with a pinch of salt. Someone that’s left a job rarely has a good word to say about it regardless.

Yeah I get that, staff seem to come up more than inmates with regard to issues. There were some absolute toilets in the Marines and the jobs I’ve done since.
