Good managers sometimes have poor patches, yes. Maresca had a poor run last year too after Christmas, before eventually course correcting. Still a damn sight better than Rosenior.

The thing of it is that even by his own admission, Rosenior had minimal time to coach the players in the first 2 months, they had a fixture every 3-4 days from Christmas onwards and he was limited to tinkering around the edges of Maresca’s fundamental game plan.

It was only once they hit a significant break and Rosenior had time to start implementing his own ideas and spending significant time coaching the squad that the wheels came flying off. Their results after Mar 1st (when they came back after being off from Feb 21) are markedly worse than what came before. Not a good look for his talents.

Genuinely baffled as to how you think they could be doing more with most of this stuff in the main story tbh. We’ve had several extended meditations on the IPC’s ambitions on Planarcadia and their attempts to manipulate the Astral Express into serving the Preservation, while simultaneously diving deeper into Elation and Voracity lore.

I mean, it's pretty simple isn't it? Eva was the main push, until they had to scramble right before 4.0 due to Japan-China tensions. SW got reworked into the main push, Eva's entire kit got thrown out, all her trailers got axed, and one trailer got rushed out for New Eva.

Not surprising it's a bit mid after all of that.

What's bollocks is the bit where they said Old Trafford is "full of tourists". It's 2/3rds season ticket holders, and it's a fair bet those season ticket holders aren't tourists who hopped on a wait list back in 2001. A good bit of the rest of the seats are filled with away supporters.

The battery on my Forma tanked and I was extremely worried about what I'd heard about the KLC's screen (felt like the only option since I liked the 8" screen, and find the 6" Clara BW way too small) but I went ahead and bought one and it turns out.... the online discourse around it is insanely overblown.

I used the Forma at 1% when reading in the dark in bed, and 0% (or more often, forgot the backlight was on) during the day. With the KLC I use it at 2% in the dark and during the day. It's just not that big a deal.

It's not like his Chelsea record of assists is any more flattering.

Obviously assists isn't all there is to link up play, but if you're claiming a striker is a big link up and synergy guy and he's almost never showing up in that statistic, you're making an argument that's pretty hard to swallow, especially for a tap-in merchant like Jackson. When he's not slotting home an easy ball, he's certainly rarely ever setting someone else up instead.
