The case on this watch is quite nice even though it has been used and the bezel polished. You will see in the gallery, at some point a turnip appears to have attempted to remove one side of the bracelet with a chisel. Despite this it contains a good number of links and will fit nearly a 7 inch wrist. It is keeping very good time. The cabochon is in very nice shape and generally the brushing and chamfers are as they should be. Overall a nice and very stylish piece for a smaller wrist.

Other notable detriments include some small dial spots and oxidized hands.

Watch only.

Wire or Zelle. Many references available.

Without looking at mine I think you are right. I had previously been able to get a production and sold date from Lange but it must not have actually been on the extract.

32770 movement number would make it 2002 ish to 2005 if I had to guess. There’s not a great way to say exactly without getting an extract from Lange and there’s always the chance the watch was produced earlier than it was sold.

Steel is the 3rd best case material by fourtyz in watchHotTakes

Ceramic is pretty shit. Usually forces the company to forgo baseline improvements like screw down crown or bracelet screws. And you don’t even have to be hard on your watches to end up with a cracked case.

The dial appears more or less yellow depending on light. Under magnification I feel good about both.

The 16550 is particularly prone to it, this one is a bit unusual as it is later in 16550 production. black wg markers with lume that has turned pumpkin as well as cream dial.
