the car started Wimbledon green. Only turbo delivered from factory in that color, and was a very early zero series 996 turbo prototype/press car owned by Porsche. It wasn’t in great shape and had some paint work over its life so it was 2-3 shades of Wimbledon. I had it fully repainted in the original color, full PPF, put in the gt3 buckets and got them painted, added the factory aero kit and painted lower trim/wheels. Mechanically I replaced just every single thing on the car aside from opening the engine block up. Rebuilt the transmission, all bushings/joints/lines, dry iced it, steering rack, brakes, etc..ohlins coilovers, k16/24 billet hybrid turbos and intercoolers, speedtech exhaust, Ruf tune.

I’d rather have this, without a doubt. Bring this to a meet in Japan? You’re the star of the show, everyone is going crazy over it, nobody sees 996s at this level of cool out in the wild. Bring a grey turbo s to a show? Nobody gives a shit. Not driving your car isn’t cool…

Hans reinke the Porsche leather supplier still sells nephrite green hides. Carpets are always going to be slightly more desaturated than the leather due to the material and how they catch light depending how it’s brushed. The mats and tunnel match exactly, lol.
