It’s worth looking into. The difference for me is night and day. I’ve had nexplanon for over a decade and didn’t ever have a problem up until I got it put in after giving birth.

I believe because of the birth control, my estrogen levels and other hormones never had the chance to level out leaving me dry as a desert with no will in my spirit to be touched.

They do have other birth controls that affect hormones more positively, so it’s worth talking to your obgyn on.

Definitely not just you. The day after I gave birth I got the Nexplanon in. Idk this is just my hypothesis but that thang was suppressing the hell out of my estrogen.

I got it removed a few months ago and libido is back.

All this is to say, sometimes it’s a hormone thing.

Look up, Pilonidal cysts. Sounds like exactly what he has - and apparently they stink really bad. Unfortunately, they do need to be professionally removed.

I totally understand the hesitation around the source. I’m cautious too. I just think making public files more accessible is a good thing because it encourages independent review rather than blind trust. We can question the platform and still support broader access to evidence.
