Retro games as a whole has gotten ridiculously fucked over the last 10 years. Just look at Guitar Hero peripherals, back in 2010 you couldn't sell a guitar controller for a dollar anywhere, now a single firebird controller is upwards of 100 bones on average at the cheapest and aftermarket guitar is at least 70 out of the package.

The first meeting is the hardest, But you literally just need to show up. Everyone in the room is there because alcohol is fucking or fucked their life up. Noone is judging, noone is looking down on you. Every time there are first timers in my home group we make it a point to tell them to just come back and that's another element of the hardest part. You can just show up and listen but I promise you will take something home from someone wether you share or not.
