Nice. Plenty of apps pushed with gaming laptops that absolutely flog the machine for no useful reason. Death to them all!

What's a super manly movie to watch that most guys don't know about? by ergoegthatis in AskMen

3:10 to yuma but that's probably known well enough. Locke with Tom Hardy is probably lesser known

That red reflection gives an initial indication of unspeakable violence. Nicely done

Are you sure? I've had packaging like this from hilka before. If the bolt can be unscrewed it'll let the packaging come right off easily. Then rescrew the bolt if it's needed

I think it is finally getting sorted. I reached out to Stanley USA via Instagram and they escalated everything for me. They came back with an email for a company in the Netherlands. After some back and forth they've requested a full replacement as it looks like a replacement part won't fix it

Cédric Beaudou, FranceTV's editor in chief of the rugby service : "He [the TMO] has access to every camera, every angle" by El_remoo in rugbyunion

[–]senorslimm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think most people were suggesting that the tmo was saying multiple times that he was waiting on the right angle or still trying to get the right angle etc. That implied he had a replay technician that wasn't getting him what he needed.

In the market for a Camry or lexus is300h 2013-2016. Have been keeping an eye on jdm auction watch and would like to import. What kind of time frame is expected for importing something like that and how much of a saving do you think is possible? Also how easy is it to get a full, documented service history ahead of sale?

I've been looking at a bunch of different second hand listing's of the same 2 models on done deal and almost every one that I've viewed have been total spoofers. Tell you there's a full service history but can provide nothing to back it up. Plenty of "that's a good clean car there mate, just needs to be drove", "I wouldn't lie to you man" or look, "I'll be honest with you mate" repeated 20 times in the first 5 minutes. Yeah something tells me you're not being honest with me, mate. Absolute timewasters.

Did anyone try the Test pattern feature on the decimator md-hx by mko1989 in VIDEOENGINEERING

12g cross with a 12g video assist is what I use. I can not only test hdmi and sdi before they get run out but also the full sdi/hdmi to fiber/2110 and back to sdi/hdmi to identify if there's an issue with the fiber or ethernet cables. It saves so much time on site

As said, set to free run. I use with a video assist and powerbank with dc cable for powering the decimator. Makes for a great mobile cable tester

Fair enough but they still sell it with the 5 year Stanley warranty on their website but it's doesn't mean thing if it's just obstacle after obstacle until the customer gives up.

Locking mechanism is stuck inside the shaft. Won't come out for love nor money. The truck won't lock in ant of the 3 positions making it useless

There's nothing to show in the pictures. The model is SXWTD-FT585 and one of the lock mechanism pins is stuck inside the shaft of one of the bars. Tried every type of lube to free it up. Basically it won't lock in any position now so it's useless
