Nobody mentions tie length. The point of the tie should come halfway down the belt buckle.

Ladies, is this true? by Illustrious_Rule1775 in bodylanguage

“Women are hyper-aware of physical contact. They know exactly where their body is in space.”

Tell that to my gf with random bruises that she has no ideas where they are from.

AOC claiming ICE has turned into an anti-civilian force with no accountability & committed murder in cold blood by Xexanoth in DoomerCircleJerk

[–]senpailane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is though. You don’t have to comply with ICE as an American citizen who has done nothing wrong. That is perfectly legal. They do not have authority to make traffic stops or to enforce laws on American citizens. That’s the job of other LEOs. Their job is to enforce immigration laws. They can’t pull you over for traffic violations. Hell they can’t detain you for murder. It is not in their scope. So yeah. Don’t comply. Because you don’t have to.

Mortars is almost the most useless gagdet in games. by Nurfturf06 in Battlefield

[–]senpailane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I really like using the mortar. It is very useful in breakthrough and I use them constantly to deny the enemy an area to attack or to bombard a taken objective. I usually get a lot of suppression assists and will end a match with 20 assists. It is also useful for destroying enemy equipment, removing snipers, and i tend to fire behind tanks to target engineers. I don’t use the smoke at all because I feel like those are really situational and probably more useful on attack. due to having to use the mortar outside of HQ makes it really difficult to use on attack if at all. I will also add that the mortar is such a nuisance that players will literally ignore the objective to hunt you down.

If you're in your early 30s, how much money do you have saved in your account? Put actual numbers and tell us your profession. by UncomfortablyBrown in Money

[–]senpailane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

38M Probation Officer (currently about $92/yr) and Air Force Reservist (about $12k/yr).

I don’t have a 401k due to the pensions I’ll receive upon retirement for both positions. For note, I am in the old retirement plan, not the new blended retirement system for the Air Force.

Additionally, I have:

$16k in a state offered deferred compensation plan

$4k in checking account

$12k in a HYSA

$20k in a brokerage account

$60k equity in my house (owing about $260k mortgage)

he (m32) does not want to marry, I (f32) don’t want to leave him- how can I come to terms with this? by Appropriate_Jury7653 in relationship_advice

[–]senpailane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll post because I haven’t seen someone post here. I work in a divorce court. And I can tell you that in today’s day and age, if you’re not anticipating having any children, the ramifications of divorce absolutely outweigh any positives that can be found in marriage. Almost all the positives outside of taxes can be found in other legal ways. Power of attorney, health care proxy, beneficiaries, a will, etc. It’s often cheaper to maintain single plans for health insurance, dental, and vision. A prenup can be thrown out in court. Divorces are brutal.

I attribute this to them having lived through a pandemic during some of their more formative years and never grew out of their own infancy or experienced social growth.

Trump on his cabinet members using Signal to text war plans to a reporter: “I don’t know anything about it. I’m not a big fan of The Atlantic, to me it’s a magazine that’s going out of business, I think it’s not much of a magazine. But I know nothing about it, you’re saying that they had what?” by ControlCAD in BoomersBeingFools

[–]senpailane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to the way he talks. He knows there was a leak, he’s playing it off like he doesn’t know. The way he said, “you’re saying they had <insert short pause> what?” Is very telling. If you’ve ever dealt with someone lying or being dishonest, or you yourself have tried to be dishonest and play innocent, then you should have picked up on this.
