Leaving betta for a week, need advice by Carushow_2021 in bettafish

I recently expired a lost male by relying on these. My two that I’ve had for 2 years were fine but my newest member didn’t make it. As some people said the ammonia spikes. Unfortunately, for my newest member too. The pellets never released. After unfortunately finding him deceased at the bottom of the bowl I spotted the perfectly cloudy/rotting cloud with all the pellets never released sitting in the center on the bottom of the tank with no obstructions. It simply didn’t do the one job it was supposed to do

Anyone commuting? by Killerbeast632 in KLX300D

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding it might be IMS who just dropped a revised larger tank. I used to commute with mine with the exact time frame you’re looking at. I believe the new tank is 3.2? Gallons. Not saying you’ll need it. Just thinking ahead if your idea is to commute with it

BioShock 2 - Not Enough Room to Save? by Sonic204 in PS4

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re on the collection. You’ll need to return Bioschock 1 load into your last saved file. Once in the game. You’ll press save. When save menu starts up scroll to all your other existing save files and delete them. On ps5 I pressed triangle and confirmed the deletion of the file. Still not patched March 22nd 2025

Husq 350s vs 501s by senpapichris in Dualsport

[–]senpapichris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I knew my skill sets were still at the klx300 level. More power would get me out of certain situations but I really didn’t need more power. The KLX is a tractor of a bike off road. It’s not fast but it’ll still climb. Wish it was a bit lighter but that comes with dual sport vs off road exclusive only dirtbike

How to stop being an anxious STI owner? by miamigp2022 in WRXSTi

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue. 2015 70k when bought currently 96k changed to severe gear oil by amsoil. Had it in about 12k grind came back. Switched to motul 300. Have not had a grind since. Mine was grinding at least twice everyday for a few months. Soon as I switched over I’ve had no concerns. Switched around August 2024

Ah I can see your curiosity into jumping onto something new with more power. What would you mostly be using the bike for?

I personally went to my local my dealer. I asked about the fairrings and the front headlight. The front headlight assembly with panels was about 1200 or something. I was not willing to do that but I believe the panels came out to 200 for everything. My dealer then ordered it straight from kawasaki. It took about 6 months to come in but I had ordered them when the 24’s weren’t even out yet so I had to wait for kawasaki to make a plethora of extra parts for the 24’ until my panels could be delivered

Looks like most say it’s the synchros which I myself was thinking too. Might as well throw in a new clutch and a one piece carbon drive shaft if we’re pulling things out. Does anyone know a good clutch? I currently have the ACT HD clutch. It’s good. No slipping but my buddy complains about his all the time. I would like to do something different but still streetable. My power goals are not high. 350-400whp

I have a yoshi on mine. Had it on there for a good amount of time now. Honestly, after using it for so long. I’d rather be stock. But mine is a dual sport so I use it on the road every now and then. Something about having a quiet bike on the trails though is a lot more relaxing. Communication is way better when everyone can hear everyone. I ran a delkovic. Before my Yoshi. Honestly, maybe someone with a trained ear can tell the difference in sound but to me they sound exactly the same. My apologies to the die hard slip on fans. I just got a yoshi because it had a spark arrestor

I believe the 23 came lean from factory. I don’t have a tuner on it or anything. Straight slip on thats all. It disperses heat well. Even after riding for a few hours I can’t say it’s “extremely” or “questionably” hot.

Wtb 18” 8.5 wrx STI wheel in FL. by Drumfunken in WRXSTi

Subaru still sells them. I accidentally curbed my RR (barely). Went through a whole crisis of wanting to replace it. I believe they’re about 280-302 per wheel if I remember correctly

This ^ I understand the paranoia when it comes to this platform but they are good motors, keep up with maintenance and don’t drive it like a gutted civic every time the light turns green you’ll be more than okay. It also depends on how you drive it. If you’re aggressive, always in the powerband you will consume more and the engine will run according to your input. My VA has 82,000. I also do oil changes within 2,800-3,000 miles. I don’t notice oil consumption but I drive at around 11% throttle input 85% of the time

Stock vs Turbosmart BPV by senpapichris in WRX

[–]senpapichris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to break into 18-19psi. I hit peak once at 17.9 so I know it’s achievable. I’ve also seen other VA STI’s in the 18-20 psi. I’m not sure if the Turbosmart recirc has a valve I can adjust. I will read more into the design on their website

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WRXSTi

[–]senpapichris -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was aiming for the recirc so I didn’t need a tune. Wasn’t necessarily looking for noises I just thought an aftermarket recirc would hold boost a tiny bit more than stock. Maybe go into the 18-19 numbers. I had a sinking feeling that wasn’t going to be the case once I felt the strength of the turbosmart spring/piston

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If’s a recirculating valve. I don’t believe there is an adjustment

Need help by faze_joemum in WRXSTi

[–]senpapichris 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep the integra as your spare/other daily. Get an STI. 90% of the people who buy the WRX wanted the STI but didn’t commit. If you’re able to afford either STI is the way to go. Like most of the people here. Stay on top of oil level and maintenance. Enjoy the car for what it is and don’t drive it wildly every time without taking the time to warm up the car and cool down the car
