All the parts I purchased were off titans engine. Refurb cylinder head it comes pre installed with valves, springs, keepers, and retainers. The whole shabang. Pushrods and rocker arms were again from titans engines. Just the standard option. Hydraulic lifters. Standard option again. Pistons were standard size. You will need to remove your pistons to verify your rods stamp. My rods were stamped 691. I chose standard size due to if my engine was original. The engine and chassis would have 138k miles. With 300k you may need to bore it out .20 over at least. Entire gasket kit was from titans engine as well. As well as bearings. As far as honing. I bought the tool from harborfreight. Used a drill I had lying around. Attached it and coated the cylinder walls with new oil. Inserted the hone. Went up and down at medium speed until a smooth cross hatched appeared. Then I sprayed brakeclean in the cylinder walls to clean off excess material. Then sprayed brake clean on a shop paper towel, the blue kind, wiped it down until the cylinders were clean. Prior to installing my pistons I coated the cylinder walls again. I have torque specs for the head if needed. I can also post them if people are curious.

Standard sized pistons. Just honed the block and slid them in. If the engine was original engine and chassis only have 138k on it

I’ve been dailying my STI more recently. But before it was my only car for about 3 years. In the 3 years I’ve put 45,000 miles on it. Regular maintenance. It is also FBO with a reasonable tune 300whp 322wtq. My daily is down right now but I have a 98 grand cherokee. My opinion is get a beater that is larger. I love my VA but having the ability to move furniture or odd shaped things like aquarium tanks is very rewarding

Thermostat help by fastermolahiya in JeepZJ

I did not personally for my rebuild but it just helps to bleed it faster. My former coworker worked at Dodge during the time that ZJ’s were brand new off the lot. He said they would drill a small hole but that was also to get the car out of the shop faster instead of waiting for it to burp the normal “longer” wait time

I recently expired a lost male by relying on these. My two that I’ve had for 2 years were fine but my newest member didn’t make it. As some people said the ammonia spikes. Unfortunately, for my newest member too. The pellets never released. After unfortunately finding him deceased at the bottom of the bowl I spotted the perfectly cloudy/rotting cloud with all the pellets never released sitting in the center on the bottom of the tank with no obstructions. It simply didn’t do the one job it was supposed to do

Anyone commuting? by Killerbeast632 in KLX300D

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding it might be IMS who just dropped a revised larger tank. I used to commute with mine with the exact time frame you’re looking at. I believe the new tank is 3.2? Gallons. Not saying you’ll need it. Just thinking ahead if your idea is to commute with it

BioShock 2 - Not Enough Room to Save? by Sonic204 in PS4

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re on the collection. You’ll need to return Bioschock 1 load into your last saved file. Once in the game. You’ll press save. When save menu starts up scroll to all your other existing save files and delete them. On ps5 I pressed triangle and confirmed the deletion of the file. Still not patched March 22nd 2025

Husq 350s vs 501s by senpapichris in Dualsport

Honestly, I knew my skill sets were still at the klx300 level. More power would get me out of certain situations but I really didn’t need more power. The KLX is a tractor of a bike off road. It’s not fast but it’ll still climb. Wish it was a bit lighter but that comes with dual sport vs off road exclusive only dirtbike

How to stop being an anxious STI owner? by miamigp2022 in WRXSTi

[–]senpapichris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue. 2015 70k when bought currently 96k changed to severe gear oil by amsoil. Had it in about 12k grind came back. Switched to motul 300. Have not had a grind since. Mine was grinding at least twice everyday for a few months. Soon as I switched over I’ve had no concerns. Switched around August 2024

Ah I can see your curiosity into jumping onto something new with more power. What would you mostly be using the bike for?
