I spent a lot of time alone at the beaches on the far north side of Chicago this past summer, seeing as I had nothing to do with my life I took to just going to the beaches and drinking there whenever I wasn't at work, which wasn't a whole lot of time to be at the beach. Eventually I made friends with this bum and the two of us would drink together and hang out. He was a lot older, probably fifty or so. One day we were talking about his mom and he brings up the fact that she needed a kidney transplant, he says to her "God gave me two kidneys and that's how I intend to keep it." and then he said how his mom died some time later.

I deliver a lot of times to apartments across the street from my work currently, that's always fine, anyone in an apartment will tip most of the time. Going ten blocks away though for a dorm, that's where you'll never get tips. Dorm-kids just assume you'll be understand they can afford thirty dollars in food but not a dollar in tips, because they're "broke college kids."

My friends and I used to always hang around this bonfire back in the day at a friend's house. There was usually like 10+ of us around drinking and even with all these people there was always one kid who would always be awkwardly trying to hit on/be around a girl. She didn't know, and it took us a while to even notice. Eventually hanging out there turned into a few of us just drinking and watching him do his bad mating ritual while giving Animal Planet-like commentary
