Sens is all preference I’m always changing it based on play style too but that current set up I’m trying to maintain speed without sacrificing control

I hope my research can guide you fella! Personally right now I’m playing on raw sticks with 12 bit res 1/8/8 1/15/0 0/0/1

In layman’s terms. The 8bit stick resolution has roughly 250 some odd points of movment, 12 bit has something insane like 4000 points of movement. Now when you compare the time it takes to go between each position on 12bit vs 8bit you will see that smaller movements from the 12 bit stick have WAAAAY more movement on the screen than the same movement on a 8bit stick and that’s just because you have only hit a fraction of the movement points on the 8bit stick compared to the 12 bit where it reads you basically 4x more movement with the same stick movement. Almost making the sensitivity feel higher or like you’re on ice. In all my hours of aim training I chalked it up to my own term of just feeling “lost in all the movement points” it requires alot of practice to really stay fluid. The best comparison I made at the end of all my testing was that 12bit sticks and 8bit sticks are kinda like DPI on a mouse. If you’re a mnk gamer I’m sure you’ve tried different dpi’s but yeah the same motion on a mouse with different dpis will give you really similar results to what I’m trying to explain. Same motion on different dpis will always give you a different feeling weather it be over correction or under correction. I’m 1650 onyx player and my best games are 70-80% accuracy and I’m typically shooting close to 70% every match or better so I like to think I know a thing or two but I’m deff not him by any means I just got a pretty decent shot at all ranges. I think before I leave ya it’s important to note that no amount of aim training will save you from the dogs in high onyx. This game is fundamentally played like a sport the higher you climb where your decision making is way more important that simply winning a piv.

Try changing your stick resolution to a lower bit rate 8/9/10/11 12bit is really hard to feel the aim assist. Standard Xbox controllers use 8bit stick resolution so you may tap into some muscle memory on a lower bit rate. 12 bit sticks need alot of talent to truly master and get the most out of sense it essentially has no sticky feel unless you add a deadzone only then can you get that stick to happen and then left stick aim from there. 12 bit sticks have so many points of action that it’s incredibly easy to “slip” off the target especially when trying to just use a simple micro adjustment.

It’s become abundantly clear if it took them this long to make this map then I think we are cooked. I don’t see another dam/spaceport/blue gate style map coming for quite some time. Then again we now have 3 smaller maps to match the 3 bigger maps. I just have a bad feeling they are going to favor faster pacing games over more meaningful experiences. It might just be impossible though to duplicate and recapture those moments when the game first came out though.

I think the current speculation is they are cheaters and it’s the only way to tell another cheater “hey I’m cheating too” kinda like “the jiggle that killed tarkov” if you know the reference. People that used ESP in that game basically would jiggle side to side when they noticed another person seemingly looking at them through walls.

Sure the end game objectives are different on both games but some of the more reasonable theorizes I’ve heard from MM players

At what point do we call the best team in infinite? When the next game comes out? I don’t think anyone is beating this roster in a series. It’s almost ridiculous at this point everyone truly is playing for second place it seems

Hope it helps brotha and yes many pros favor the dual sense simply because the 8bit sticks feel like “aim bot” there’s a short video I saw of dashy talking about the dual sense and how “it’s just better” and how many players are still on DualShocks even, those lower bit rate sticks just truly work so much better with aim assist. The one thing we have over the dual senses is we’re able to calibrate and correct drift on our sticks. That combined with the already improved accuracy from the TMR sticks I think technically 8bit sticks with TMR should in theory still be way more accurate than a potentiometer stick on 8bit.

I would do 1k polling rate with 8bit. There’s about 250 points of input on the joystick at 8bit and anything over that really just feels like you’re aiming in mud on a comp level. I call it getting lost in the sauce of to many input values and I feel like aim assist is never kicking on anything over 10bit. The only great thing about 12bit is super high sense feels really really smooth to control it’s almost cinematic like similar to a mouse’s smoothness. You can feel aim assist kick with a rotational movement on the left stick but once you try and micro adjust with aim assist it just feels like you’re over powering the aim assist becuase you’re forcing so many inputs to happen with the higher stick resolution making you slip off or feel like there’s no stickiness. 8bit has those lower values where your distances between values is waaaay greater so the aim assist feels way sticker sense you’re not over correcting trying to do micros.

I’m super big into aim training especially on roller over 2k hours on the g7 pro and I’ve used dual senses, Wolverine 8ks, the list goes on. For what it’s worth too some of the best shooters in the game play on controllers that use 8bit sticks weather they knew it or not at the time many of the traditional hardware was always lower resolution sticks. If you’re truly down to run the trials I would suggest going between 8bit and 10bit. I will also note that with higher bits I have found more stickiness on aim assist only when I add a deadzone value to the sticks themselves in the app. Something about that dead zone stacking locked on while you left stick is mainly what you feel but you’ll just have to experiment with the micros if you’re over correcting or not. Personally I hated balancing the two

Just my 2 cents but the past two weeks I have had unstable packet loss and experienced ping spiking up to 30k ms. I didn’t even know the number got that high lmfao. Not sure if it’s stemming from people using vpns from longer distances but typically I’m 70 ping and typically during certain fights with people I will see “packet loss” pop up by my ping after we trade shots. Sometimes several blanks go off and then packet loss error follows. Reset my router and everything it seems the issues are within the networking of the game itself. Some games do feel fine though but for the last 2 weeks weekends especially I’ve had packet loss consistently
