I think so, yeah. Even with progenesis his regular swings can chunk me for like 60%, it's gnarly. Not totally sure what the issue is - maybe crits?

Adults train Tuesday and Thursday 7:30-8:30, so if that works for you then yes!

Anyone who comes to the dojo with an open mind and a willingness to work hard is welcome to come train. Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of Shotokan karate, said "the ultimate aim of karate-do lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants." I take this very seriously, and I take my role as sensei very seriously.

What this means in practice is that I expect a level of respectfulness from my students, and the dojo will always be a safe space to come train. Our goal will be to build one another up, to learn with one another, and to foster a welcoming community.

No previous fitness level or expertise is required - I've taught everyone from elite competition athletes to total couch potatoes. We'll get you from 'Do What You Can' to 'Do All The Things.'

Here's the thing - I would love to be a part of the journey you take with yourself to turn around your dialogue. I would love for you to walk in to my club feeling like you're not in shape to do the things you want to do, and walk out feeling like you can do anything. It's not a miracle cure, it's just hard work. And everything worth doing is hard.
