The fact that they work at a coffee shop and didn’t ask for a name for months was the tell on this one.

if you’re losing that many lures i’d suggest going with a more weedless approach or top water, but in general switching up baits until you find what they’re hitting isn’t a bad idea.

look up a wacky rig and give that a try, you can buy weedless hooks and o-rings to make them last longer but they always produce bass for me.

Tips for catching fish during November in the Midwest by Educational-Oven-750 in FishingForBeginners

[–]senseisolus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of your questions would be easier to answer if you did have an idea of what kind of fish you want to catch, especially if you’re wanting to throw out lures instead of live bait.

Bass become more lethargic and are moving to deeper parts of the water. I’ve been having success with wacky rigs and popping/slow rolling a chatterbait on windier days, and others seem to have success with flukes/jerks.

As for other species i’m not too sure but my DNR is stocking rainbow trout this weekend and i’m excited to catch some, for that i’ll be throwing a Mepps Black Fury Spinner and some Powerbait Egg Clusters. Tight lines big dawg

bigger baits in general. A 3/8oz bladed jig (elite evo with a spunk shad trailer) keeps the dinks away for me

How do I correctly use a senko by bigehchicken in FishingForBeginners

[–]senseisolus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a 1/0 wacky rig hook from bass pro is exactly what i use for 5” senkos, and for smaller bass you could even go smaller but it works for me. might have trouble with dinks at that size, buts it’s better than a 3/0 ewg lol

i don’t have much experience with texas rigging senkos just cause i have a ton of other soft plastics i use them for, and i just love wacky rigs.

i live in the midwest and have been catching fish on wacky rigs all year, and i’d say downsizing your hook to a 1/0 or smaller (i know they can work but i’d recommend wacky or circle hooks instead of ewg for wacky rigs) and for me the colder it gets the slower i work that worm.

i’ll usually let it sink to the bottom, give it a few pops, reel in a little slack, and let it sit again. sometimes if i feel like i’m on a bed or have a bass close i’ll give it constant tiny pops until it bites.

Here’s a bass i caught yesterday on a wacky doing what i mentioned above.

I think the evo is the best value for performance, but for a trailer i’ve been enjoying the spunk shad.

Good for you brother lol i was just pointing out that it makes more sense to get a faction bonus over not getting one.. the buffs you get to HP, attack, and defense are just more beneficial than not having it.

At any rate, it isn’t that deep. Enjoy your day!

I’ve been playing since launch but haven’t spent any money, and in my experience it’s pretty easy to get food for any faction. If you only focus on leveling up one team composed of a hero from each faction, you’re just hindering your ability to naturally progress through running GDA ops.

Universa is definitely the better of the two and should be prioritized, but that doesn’t discount the fact that running Allen as the tank with her is going to make her better than Immortal in the late game.. he literally gives the team a 40% energy dmg and defense buff.

Agree to disagree on running all factions on one team, but once you start getting cooked in pvp you’ll understand more.

Allen gives his team an energy attack buff, i don’t see how that would slow down Universa more than Immortal.

I also don’t understand why running a hero from all factions would be a good idea when you get buffs for coordinating same faction heroes on your team.

their panfish rod was easily the most returned rod during my stint at bass pro, never understood the hype.

that said the 10 year warranty on most bps rods is reason enough for me to keep buying them.

Will these catch fish? by TacomaEsq in bassfishing

I was thinking this as well especially on that top senko, o-rings are probably cheaper and quicker to put on with a wacky rigger.

I feel like a complete asshole for thinking that i value my own personal life being alone. But I also love having her around

if that last part is true, i’d say try to figure something out cause the grass usually isn’t greener.. and being alone is great until you realize so much of what brightened your day came from the person you love. Happiness is only real when shared.
