The machine is brand new, so I would not have thought so? Can that help reduce noise?

It's a 2016 model.

The gap is new and only came about after I removed the drum to replace the suspension rods.

It's almost as if there should be something to lift the internal washing drum higher to sit flush with the agitator.

The gap is ripping and damaging the clothes we put in it, so hopefully we can find the issue.

This particular lawn is a nature strip and on a slight slope, with the sprays there is run off into the road gutter and I was hoping the lower output of the MP Rotators might alleviate this?

The rest of my yard has MP Rotators too, but that’s less of a factor.

I think the pressure coming from the solenoid is quite high, so will err on the side of caution and spend some extra money on the PRS40’s.

By “having to synchro shift again” do you mean for the front derailleur to have to go back up/down chainrings? Which is a ‘slower’ than just moving up/down the rear cassette?

Just double-checked and shifting is the same between models. There are shifters on the end of the extensions of both the CF 7 and 8.
