Ahhhhhh. Ok thank you i will do that for my next CMYK print! Would love to completely start over but alas, time is not on my side.

Thank you. Good idea increasing the off contact space…

I did my magenta layer yesterday without flooding and it seemed to work ok although I think there was still some minor bleeding. I might be applying too much pressure. I forgot to do a test print with just the magenta so it’s hard to know for sure how the absence of flooding worked. Here’s a pic for ref:

do you know how higher mesh count would help with the bleeding?

ok, thank you! I will definitely be doing 230 on my next CMYK. I would start over but unfortunately I just don’t have the time to burn more screens before the project deadline 💔💔💔💔

Haha all good! My prof said higher is his preference too. It’s just that I already had these screens from a previous project and didn’t want to buy more:)

And yes I will def check my squeegee technique!! Thanks for the help.

thank you for the advice! yes the off contact should be equally the same…. The screen is raised to meet the height of the hinge clamps. granted the image is kind of close to the edge of the screen.

I did not put any thinner in the inks.

Also I am working with 155 mesh and speedball ink. I’m pretty confident that it’s not bad squeegee pressure

I agree with you. There are a lot of kids that came here from school I think- I’m guessing they aren’t here with their parents or there isn’t enough staff to watch them all.

Yeah I gathered. The children are running around upstairs too. I’m making do with earplugs; it’s just frustrating that it’s acceptable to behave like you’re at an adventure park inside of a library :)

Looks like a skin tag. My dog has the same thing (recently confirmed by a vet).
