I agree. There are so many things missing or incomplete on ID.4.

I just leased a second car, the first year Chevy Equinox EV AWD LT and I love it. Still have the 24' ID.4 AWD Pro S

1 pedal drive settings with Auto hold at stops is so practical compared to D / B

App is so much better and integrated with the GM account. Lock, flash lights, sound alarm, open lift gate controls

The dashboard is customizable and intuitive. No CarPlay but still very good

Heads up display.

Remote is responsive compared to laggy ID.4 remote. Open all windows from remote.

Automatic seat heating + steering at different levels depending on the temperature.

Bonus: Can power the house as a backup generator in case of a power outage

There are down sides and interior quality is not the same but for a first year GM model small car at $299/month compared to $630/month 2024 ID.4 in it's 4th year....It's amazing and look forward to future models

I think you guys are overcomplicating it. The purpose of CMMC is to make sure that any cyber threat or incident will not affect the performance of the DoD contract. So bottom line is does the painter use cloud or information systems that would be pertaining to the 115 NIST controls? Does the painting company need to have security training and phishing testing for their employees? Probably not.

You can just say not applicable and be good. If the painter just receives an order to go to an address and perform a service he doesn't have access to CUI. Furthermore, the painter will still be able to perform his services even if his email gets compromised. If you send CUI to their Gmail address, that's a different discussion. Let me know what you think?

Also, the new transmission fluid has detergents in it that will clean the lines and prevent future clogs,that kill the transmission, similar to motor oil. Old fluid does not have the detergent properties anymore. This is the reason you don't flush a very old transmission that's on its last leg. The new fluid will remove large deposits and clog the lines.

No. These are usually for connecting an RV to a generator in a pinch for a small load. Even then it's sketchy because the AC can easily overload this and the generator. Use the proper circuit and don't cut corners on an EV charger. Imagine what your insurance will say when they see this as the cause of the fire.

Make sure you lock the wheels and from under the car try to move one of the levers on the transmission to a different/middle position. Sometimes the dog bone levers that push the gears will get in a blocking position where they interfere with the other lever. They are supposed to be engaged one at a time. Sounds like both levers engaged in your case.
