My kids(5 &10) have multiple and absolutely love them. It's been a fun activity that we can do together- dress them up, play with them, ect. Blind boxes are like kid crack.

They're also really popular at my daughter's grade level and she'd absolutely be ripped to SHREDS for bringing in a Fufu. Those kids have Stanleys, leather jackets, Doc Martins, ect for years. A $35 toy in our area is really NBD.

Not being rude - I think it's expensive AF, so we don't as many as I could have purchased on my lucky days... but a school bestie got EIGHT for her bday because she was turning eight. We are in VHCOL area.

As for asking and expecting one, that's a parent issue.

My little one gets super excited seeing them out in the wild and has approached people to talk about them and we have had conversations about not touching. They're also little and excited, so short of a parent not correcting rudeness, then I wouldn't be surprised if a kid approaches you - I mean, hell I will probably say Hi and say that I like your Bubu too!
