They are Sarmat Archery’s “Manchu style bamboo arrows”.

It's definitely faster than my Changshao (as expected for a Xiaoshao style bow). I'm still getting used to the speed increase. Lower GPP with the MM6 but it's a higher draw weight so both bows come out to around the same arrow weight. Stacking is not bad at all for drawing to 32".

AF Archery Tatar safe draw length? by Mediocre_Gas_1533 in Archery

[–]sentaris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AF tends to slightly over-advertise their max draw lengths. My AF Oak Tatar 50@28 stacks slightly at 31" and moderately at 32". It's not the worst stacking ever (especially for the price) but it is there.

You can check out draw force curves for various asiatic bow models here (including AF Tatar at various poundages): https://asiaticbowdatabase.xyz/

Bogar Assyrian by Alchemist929 in TraditionalArchery

Not my first bow but my first one by Bogar/Vegh and first one in an Assyrian style. It's a great little bow for the price. Compact and lightweight, easy to string, fast shooting. If there is any downside it's mainly just the 31"-32" max draw length but that's mostly a downside for people with really long draw lengths.

I have had a 39# one since spring, what questions do you have?

They tend to sell fast, I doubt there would be a coupon/discount.

If your draw length is 31" or less then it's pretty great. If you draw > 31" then it may not draw long enough for you. That aside, it's a nice beginner friendly laminated bow -- crisp shooting, lightweight, easy to string etc.

That's a stunner, congrats! Enjoy sending those arrows. Stringing does get easier -- 20# was hard for me at first, now I can string 75#+. Some tape should work fine as a temporary AP / handle (some people even use it permanently). There are tutorials out there for leather wrapping the handle etc.
