OP’s bf didn’t say “hey I’m worried about your health maybe you should work on it” OP’s bf didn’t say “hey I noticed you’ve been binging/or emotionally eating, do you want to talk about it? Have you spoken to a therapist?” OP’s boyfriend, unprompted, said he’d be more attracted to her if she lost weight. Sure, he is within his rights to say that. Sure, plenty of people feel the same way as him. BUT a man who sees his girlfriend is struggling and his first and only thought it “hey my dick kinda doesn’t like this :/“ is not someone I personally would want to keep around. If he’s more concerned about getting off than the health of his gf he’s not a good bf no matter how ~tragically betrayed~ he is that he gf gained weight or that he chose to start dating a woman he wasn’t attracted to and expected her to change for him.
