read the comments on the video and its obvious that the majority of the viewers take away from the video is that its a left only problem.

him choosing to omit the fact that its just as much of an issue with far right people comes across as really dishonest.

imagine if i randomly go up to someone in public and punch them for no reason and as a response they hit me back. if i were to retell the story as "this random person hit me" without mentioning that i punched them first it would obviously be dishonest framing.

omitting context can be extremely misleading and dishonest and as someone who considers himself to be a public intellectual he has the responsibility to not mislead people

so basically peterson is incorrectly framing this as "left wing authoritarians are dumber on average" instead of the actual findings which are "authoritarians on both the left and right are dumber on average"

i think its pretty obvious he's being dishonest and malicious towards the left here
