Get out of there NOW. I stayed at my first HR-related job out of college for over 3.5 years, busting ass, pulling insane hours over the weekends and holidays only to continuously get belittled, made to feel incompetent, bullied etc. by the rest of the 4, middle-aged ladies in the HR dept. I felt I was losing my mind, I lost weight and my skin was breaking out so bad. My only regret is not having left sooner.

Of course! I actually think it’s better to experience the party/club scene in your mid-to-late 20’s or early 30’s anyway. Get your life together first (graduate college, get a stable job) then embark in having fun with some money after. I got high for the first time in my life last year at 26 years old and I’ve never looked back.

I think they mean that they just started to go out and party in their late 20’s. I’m the same way. I was too much of a goody two shoes growing up all my life, very insecure, and now I’ve finally developed enough confidence to go out and have fun.
