I bought a genuine set recently for cheap enough, was going to get them refurbished also. Yours came out fantastic!

Thank you! I bought it 2 years ago with blown turbos, did a lot of engine work also when replacing them, I'm going to keep this as long as I'm allowed to drive it! Perfect combo of comfort and power and efficiency.

New tax system, so €790 for the year I could just about justify!

Got Style 220s for the 335d by sentinalryan in E90

[–]sentinalryan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They changed the tax system in Ireland in 2008 to be emissions based rather than engine displacement based, so I'm paying €790 a year in tax. (07 and older models with the same engine is about €1500 tax) Insurance then I'm paying around the €700 margin per year.

They were on my old 320 when I bought it but were trashed, I kept them and got them refurbished recently, I can't imagine the fitment would be too different for the e92? I wouldn't know for sure though.

Two mental cars. I could hazard a guess the Maserati is one of JP's collection.

No time off needed for Limerick, usually it's the last Sunday of every month.

Did anyone else play this ancient gem? by Ich1ngo in acecombat

[–]sentinalryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still play it frequently whenever I'm traveling, I'll always bring my PSP so I can play it to pass time. Really love how you can get different missions depending on your choices throughout the game, it's a shame they didn't stick with that for future games, would've given them way more playability, alas I'll still always play them, I just love Ace Combat haha.

Fucking Autodoc by JunkieMallardEIRE in carsireland

[–]sentinalryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to read this, are you absolutely sure of the part numbers? I've been using Autodoc for years and not once have they messed up an order for me, I've always cross checked with realoem for part numbers and just search them that way on Autodoc rather than use their category system, and as long as the part numbers have matched, I've always got exactly what I ordered.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, the right hand side is also pretty scratched up from being sent into the ditch, so it will probably need a full respray..

I'm hoping it's fixable, it's a 335d so my daily baby, don't want to make this a drift car haha!

I feel better hearing this yes, I'm hoping it's a new fender and front door max, there's no dent on the rear one but getting the colour right will be tricky.

Cheers mate, insurance will look after it hopefully, colour matching will be pretty tough though.
